We started as two gardeners with a van and a dumpy level. Clients kept asking us to fix gardens that looked good on day one and failed by the second winter, usually because nobody had checked the levels or the soil.
So every job now starts with a survey, every design is drawn to scale, and the people who build your garden are the same people who come back to look after it.

Levels, drainage, soil and light are checked before anything is drawn. Most garden problems start underground.
